The gear change on modern bikes is too often their Achilles heel. But worry not! Our Gear service will check and adjust all the gear components, optimising their action. The price of new inner gear cables and their fitting is included in the service price. If any other new parts are required or if we find issues you need to be aware of we will ring you to discuss before continuing with the service

A full service comprises a full safety and performance check of your bicycle. We will check all critical components, adjusting them where necessary to improve performance. If any inner cables or the chain need changing they will be changed for no additional charge except for the cost of the parts. If further new parts are required or if we find issues you need to be aware of we will ring you to discuss before continuing with the service

Obviously the brakes are a critical part of the bike. Our brake service will optimise the efficiency of the braking system. New inner brake cables are included as part of the service price! For all brakes we will charge a discounted price for replacement shoes/pads, if they are necessary. There are 2 Brake services - one for standard Cable brakes and one for more demanding Hydraulic systems. As usual, if we find other items we think you might want to change we will ring you to discuss before continuing with the service
